Audit log
Every change to an outlet, who made it, and what it was before.
The Audit log records every change made to an outlet, by anyone, on any device.
Each entry says who saved it, how long ago, and what changed, grouped by item. For example:
VODKA 10010 Cost price £14.90 → £15.50
Closing and undoing periods are there too. A new outlet's first entry is it being made.
Finding something
- Search the audit log by words or an item code.
- Kind of change: just the price list, just stock details, and so on.
- Who: one person's changes.
Fifty entries show at a time; Load older goes further back.
Nothing can be rewritten
The log can only be added to. There is no way in Stock Express to edit or delete an entry, so it is a true record of what was done to a stock, and when.
