Extended sheet

Every line of the stock in full, to look over before you close.

The Extended sheet is the whole stock on one screen. For each item: cost price, selling price, yield, opening, purchases, credits, closing, till sales, sales and the till difference.

The extended sheet: prices, opening, purchases, closing, till sales and the till difference for every item

Sales = opening + purchases − credits − closing.

At the foot: how many items are on the sheet, and the Closing value of the stock at cost. If any item has sold less than nothing, it warns you to check before closing the period. Negative sales show in red.

Column locks

Cost price, selling price and opening are locked, so a slip of the finger cannot change them. Tap Column locks to unlock one when you need to type it. Closing and till sales are never typed here; they come from the count and Till sales.

Purchases and credits are not typed either. Tap one to see the deliveries or credit notes behind it.

On each line

  • Include in till report: untick to leave the item out of the till differences.
  • Remove from the extended sheet: takes the item off this period's sheet. It stays on the price list.

The printed extended sheet

The printed version adds, for each line, the bar price (a measure, pint or packet), GP %, sales at selling and days stock, with totals for each group and for the whole stock. A star marks a price new this period. Lines with nothing opened, bought, credited or counted are left off.
